Here is OUR top 22 schools. Ideally Clif will get one to attend one of the first 5.

The number in front of the school name is the ranking of the law school from US News and World Report. I've learned that in law school, ranking means everything.

You might notice that (94) SLU and (19) Wash U don't make the list. That is because we really don't want to stay in St. Louis another three years. But we did apply to them. They are just in our 23-32 choice list. Ha! I hope we don't have to go that low. So depending on where in the country you live and where you want us to live...get praying! We should start hearing back from schools in mid to late March.

We had an ancient chain link fence that neither kept our dogs in nor the neighbor dogs out. There was no shed, no cute table and chairs and no wind chime. There were more weeds than grass and almost no flowers. And there was this big ugly run down building.

All that has changed - almost all of it. The building is still there, but now I love it.

Three generations of men are in that shop (counting grandpa who is usually sitting on a lawn chair out front) and they work diligently to spruce up ancient cars. Kind neighbors who love visiting our little pups. During the summer we enjoy chatting with them when we can. And during the winter, when there are no flowers to gaze at or leaves to block the view, I think the building adds character to our back yard.

Don't worry. She doesn't really "do the internet" so she won't find out what her present is. Since I spent all day working on it (and not taking photographs) I'll post a picture from our recent trip to Hawaii that made it on to the calendar. Here is also a picture of Clif and I from our wedding day. And two pictures of Clif's sister, April, just for fun.

By the way. If you want to make a photo calendar I highly recommend www.lulu.com. Don't take my many hours of preparation as anything against them. They do a great printing job. If you use the coupon code "hohoho" before Dec 31st you can get 20% off your order.
